Plumage DetailsAdult Verdins have a plain gray body, a bright yellow head and throat, and a distinctive reddish-chestnut patch on the bend of the wing (shoulder). Juveniles are duller, lacking the bright yellow and reddish patch.
Vocalization / CallIts song is a series of clear, whistled notes, often described as 'tseet-tseet-tseet' or 'cheer-cheer-cheer'. It also gives sharp, single 'chip' calls.

Description
