Plumage DetailsMales exhibit a vibrant crimson-red head and neck, featuring a distinct black mask around the eyes and a small black crest. The body is predominantly deep crimson-red, heavily patterned with numerous small, round white ocelli (eye-like spots). The back and wings are a darker reddish-brown with similar white spotting, and the tail is short and dark brown to black.

Description
The Satyr Tragopan is a medium-sized, brightly colored pheasant native to the Himalayas. Males are particularly striking with their vibrant crimson plumage adorned with white spots, often found foraging shyly in dense forest undergrowth.
