Plumage DetailsAdults typically have a dark brown back and head, a pale underside with a distinctive dark belly band, and a rufous (reddish-brown) tail, which is most prominent from above. Juveniles have a brown-banded tail and more streaking on the underparts. Light and dark morphs occur, especially in western populations.

Description
