Plumage DetailsThe plumage is highly iridescent, with a glossy blue-green back, wings, and tail. The head is black, and there is a prominent white eye. A narrow white band separates the iridescent blue-green upper breast from the bright rufous (orange-brown) lower breast and belly. The undertail coverts are white.
