Plumage DetailsPredominantly white plumage with a distinctive forward-curving sulphur-yellow crest that can be raised or lowered. There is often a pale yellow wash on the underside of the wings and tail feathers. The beak is dark grey to black, and there is bare grey skin around the eye.
Vocalization / CallKnown for extremely loud, harsh, raucous screeches and squawks, often repeated, especially when flying or alarmed. They also produce softer chattering and whistling sounds, and can mimic a variety of noises.
