Description
The Greater Flamingo (*Phoenicopterus roseus*) is the most widespread and largest species of the flamingo family. Adults typically exhibit pale pink to white plumage, long, slender pink legs, and a large, downward-curved pink bill with a distinctive black tip. They are known for their characteristic feeding behavior, filtering small organisms from shallow waters. They are found across parts of Africa, Asia, and southern Europe. The image shows two flamingos, one with typical pale plumage and another unusually dark individual, both feeding in shallow water.
