Description
The Peregrine Falcon is a large, powerful falcon known for its incredible speed. Adults have a slate-grey back and wings, a white to buff underside with fine dark barring, and a distinctive dark head with prominent 'moustache' stripes (malar stripes) contrasting with white cheeks. Their cere and feet are bright yellow. Juveniles are browner with streaked underparts. They have long, pointed wings and a relatively short tail.
