Plumage DetailsMales have glossy dark blue-grey upperparts, blackish flight feathers, a white throat and breast, and grey flanks. A distinctive scarlet patch is present on the lower back/rump. Description
The Grey-sided Flowerpecker is a small, active passerine endemic to Sulawesi and its surrounding islands. Males are distinguished by their dark blue-grey upperparts and a prominent scarlet patch on the lower back, while females are duller. They are typically found foraging in the canopy for fruits and insects.
