Plumage DetailsPredominantly bright green plumage covers the body. A distinctive red forehead and a red stripe extends from behind the eye. Red patches are also present on the bend of the wing (shoulders) and on the thighs. The undertail coverts are red. The bill is large, thick, and dark grey to black.
