Plumage DetailsMales have a black head, throat, and underparts, with an olive-green back and wings. A prominent yellow collar separates the black head from the olive back. The orbital skin is bright green. The bill is pale yellowish-green with several distinct black spots on the upper mandible. Undertail coverts are red. Females are similar but may have a chestnut wash on the sides of the head.
