Plumage DetailsThe head, nape, and upper back are dark sooty-gray to blackish. The rest of the upperparts, wings, and tail are a rich rufous-brown. The throat and upper breast are also dark sooty-gray, transitioning to a paler rufous-brown on the belly and flanks, with a small white patch on the lower cheek/ear coverts and fine white streaking on the throat.
