Plumage DetailsThe plumage is predominantly black on the head, back, and wings, with a brilliant scarlet belly and undertail coverts. It features a distinctive orange-red patch on the nape/hindneck and a smaller orange-red patch on the bend of the wing. Some blue is visible on the lesser wing coverts.
