Description
Salvadori's Teal is a small, shy duck endemic to the highlands of New Guinea. It is typically found in fast-flowing mountain streams and rivers, where it forages for aquatic invertebrates. Its mottled plumage provides excellent camouflage in its rocky, forested habitat.
