Plumage DetailsMales are entirely dark gray with a small white patch on the back (often concealed) and two rows of white spots on the wing coverts, forming two distinct wing-bars. Females are similar but slightly paler gray, with a rufous wash on the flanks and undertail coverts.
Vocalization / CallIts song is a high-pitched, rapid series of 'tsee-tsee-tsee' notes, often accelerating and rising slightly in pitch. It also gives sharp 'chip' calls.
