Plumage DetailsIn non-breeding plumage, as shown, it has brownish-grey upperparts with dark scaling, a pale brownish wash across the breast, and white underparts. The head is brownish with a darker crown and a pale supercilium. The bill is dark, and legs are greenish-grey. Breeding adults develop a striking rufous chest band bordered by a black band below.

Description
