Plumage DetailsThis magpie features a glossy black head, neck, and breast, with a distinctive white patch on the nape and fine white streaking on the crown. Its back, rump, and upper tail coverts are a brilliant blue, fading to a paler blue on the wings and the extremely long, graduated tail, which is tipped with white. The underparts are creamy white, and the prominent bill and legs are a vivid orange-red, complemented by orange eyes.
