Plumage DetailsThe male Pin-tailed Manakin has a bright crimson crown, contrasting with a black face, nape, back, and wings. Its throat and underparts are pure white. The lower back and rump are olive-green, featuring a prominent red patch on the lower back. The central tail feathers are elongated and narrow, giving it a 'pin-tailed' appearance. Females are much duller, predominantly olive-green.

Description
