Plumage DetailsAdults have dark brown to slate-grey upperparts, often barred or mottled, with rufous underparts heavily streaked with dark brown. They feature a distinct dark malar stripe (moustache) on the face, and yellow cere and feet. Juveniles are generally darker and browner.
