Plumage DetailsBlack head, neck, and upperparts. Underparts are bright yellow with two prominent black bands across the chest and belly, separated by a yellow band. A distinctive red band is present below the lower black band on the lower belly/vent. The large bill is mostly black, with a bright yellow base to the upper mandible and a red tip. Bare skin around the eye is pale blue.
