Description
The Little Tinamou is a small, plump, ground-dwelling bird with a short tail, often found foraging shyly in dense undergrowth. It is known for its cryptic plumage which provides excellent camouflage within its forest habitat. Despite being able to fly, it prefers to walk or run, only taking to the air for short distances when startled.
