Description
The Greater Flamingo is the largest and most widespread species of flamingo. It has predominantly pale pinkish-white plumage, with bright pink wing coverts and black primary and secondary flight feathers, visible when in flight or with wings spread. They possess long, slender pink legs and a large, distinctive downward-curved bill with a black tip, adapted for filter feeding.
