Plumage DetailsThe Golden-crowned Brushfinch features a bright yellow median crown stripe flanked by black lateral crown stripes and a broad black mask covering the lores and ear-coverts. Its back and wings are olive-green, darkening on the primaries and tail. The underparts are olive-yellow, fading to whitish on the belly, and it has a distinctive bicolored bill, black on the upper mandible and orange-red on the lower.
