Plumage DetailsThis aracari has a black head, neck, and upperparts. Its underparts are bright yellow with a broad, fiery red band across the belly. A narrow red line also runs across the upper breast. The most prominent feature is its large bill, which is predominantly black on the lower mandible and tip, transitioning to bright orange and red on the upper mandible, with a yellow-green base.
