Plumage DetailsFeatures a black head, neck, and upperparts. The underparts are bright yellow with a prominent broad red band across the belly. A distinctive white 'collar' marks the base of its large, mostly black bill, which has a pale yellowish-white section on the upper mandible near the face and a serrated cutting edge. It has a yellow eye surrounded by a bare patch of skin.
