Plumage DetailsDark brown upperparts with reddish-brown primaries and tail. Iridescent purplish-green patches adorn the sides of the neck. It features a white throat, a prominent white stripe (bridle) from below the eye to the nape bordered by a dark line, pale buffy underparts, reddish eyes with a white orbital ring, and a pinkish-red bill and legs.
