Plumage DetailsMales have iridescent green upperparts, a velvety black throat and central breast, bordered by iridescent blue-green on the sides of the neck and breast. The flanks are green, and the undertail coverts are dark. The tail is rufous-purple with black tips. Females have a white central breast and belly with a black central stripe, and a less extensive black throat patch.

Description
