Plumage DetailsMostly bright green plumage with a duller green underside. The forehead and lores are often tinged with blue, and there are small patches of red on the carpal joint (bend of the wing) and outer primary feathers, though these are often hidden. The bill is dark grey to black, and the eye-ring is pale.
Vocalization / CallIts calls include a variety of squawks, screeches, and chattering notes. It often produces a distinctive 'a-ga-ga' sound and a rolling 'krra-krra-krra' when in flight or alarmed.

Description
The Black-billed Amazon is a small, predominantly green parrot endemic to Jamaica. It is often found in pairs or small flocks, foraging quietly in the canopy for fruits and seeds.
