Description

The Alta Floresta Antpitta is a small, shy terrestrial bird of the Amazonian understory, often heard but rarely seen. It forages on the forest floor, hopping among leaf litter in search of invertebrates. Its cryptic plumage provides excellent camouflage in its dense rainforest habitat.
